1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moomo AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors of content.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Moomo AI. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Moomo AI is a dual-platform (iOS and web) artificial intelligence assistant that provides:

• AI Chat: Conversational AI powered by the Q1 model (Google Gemini)
• Google Workspace Integration: Read-only access to Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar with your authorization
• Voice Interaction: Voice-based input and output using native speech APIs
• Document Creation: AI-powered generation of presentations (PPTX) and documents (DOCX)
• News Reader: AI-curated news aggregation across multiple categories
• Agent Mode: (Web only) Autonomous coding assistance with file, terminal, git, and code analysis tools
• Multi-language Support: Communication in 20+ languages
• Cross-device Sync: Real-time synchronization of conversations and preferences between iOS and web
• Data Export: Export chat history in TXT or PDF format

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access the Service, you must sign in using Google OAuth through Firebase Authentication. You must provide accurate and complete information associated with your Google account.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@moomo.ai
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and current

3.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Moomo AI. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Moomo AI for:

• Personal productivity, assistance, and learning
• Educational and research purposes
• Professional work and business tasks
• Creative content generation and brainstorming
• Information retrieval and organization

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Any illegal activity or violation of applicable laws
• Harassment, threats, abuse, or discrimination
• Spreading misinformation, harmful, or deceptive content
• Attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity
• Generating spam, malware, or unsolicited communications
• Violating intellectual property or privacy rights
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting AI model weights
• Automated scraping, excessive API requests, or denial-of-service attacks
• Creating content intended to harm minors
• Circumventing rate limits, usage restrictions, or safety filters

4.3 Content Guidelines

When interacting with the Service, you must not:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or obscene
• Attempt to manipulate the AI into generating prohibited content
• Share confidential information belonging to others without authorization
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 No Warranty on Accuracy

• We do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or reliability of AI responses
• AI models may produce different responses to the same query
• You should independently verify any information before relying on it

5.2 Ownership of Content

• Your Input: You retain all rights to content you submit to Moomo AI
• AI Output: AI-generated content is provided for your use; ownership of AI output may be subject to applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• License to Us: By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service — we do not use your inputs to train AI models

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before use
• Ensuring AI output complies with applicable laws and regulations
• Disclosing AI-generated content where legally required
• Respecting intellectual property rights in AI-generated content

6. Google Workspace Integration

6.1 Authorization

When you connect Google Workspace services:

• You authorize Moomo AI to access these services on your behalf using OAuth 2.0
• We use incremental scope authorization — permissions are requested only when you choose to connect a specific service
• You can revoke access at any time through your account settings or Google Account Permissions
• Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply

6.2 Data Access Scope

We do not modify, delete, send, or share your Google data without your explicit instruction. Workspace data is cached for up to 5 minutes to reduce API calls.

7. Voice & Document Tools

7.1 Voice Features

• Voice input is processed using the Web Speech API (web) or iOS Speech framework (iOS) directly on your device
• Voice audio is not recorded, transmitted, or stored by Moomo AI
• Voice features require microphone permission and HTTPS (web) for security
• Transcribed text is processed identically to typed messages

7.2 Document & Presentation Creation

• Documents (DOCX) and presentations (PPTX) are generated locally in your browser or on your device
• Generated files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers
• You are responsible for the content of documents you generate and how you use them
• PDF export is available as a fallback option

7.3 News Reader

• News articles are sourced from third-party providers and displayed within the app
• We do not create, endorse, or verify news content
• Article content and copyrights belong to the original publishers
• News data is cached locally for up to 5 minutes for performance

8. Agent Mode (Web Only)

Agent Mode provides autonomous coding assistance with 30+ tools for file operations, code analysis, terminal execution, git operations, and more.

8.1 Your Responsibility

• Agent Mode may execute commands, modify files, and interact with your local development environment
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any actions taken by Agent Mode
• We recommend using Agent Mode in a sandboxed or non-production environment
• Moomo AI is not liable for any data loss, code changes, or system modifications made through Agent Mode

8.2 Limitations

• Agent Mode operates only within your browser session and local environment
• It does not have access to remote servers or cloud resources unless you explicitly provide credentials
• Agent Mode-generated code should be reviewed before use in production

9. Subscription & Payment

9.1 Free Access

Moomo AI currently offers free access to all features. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future.

9.2 Future Paid Features

If we introduce paid subscriptions:

• We will provide advance notice and clear pricing information
• Existing free users may be grandfathered or offered discounted access
• Billing terms and refund policies will be communicated at that time

9.3 Usage Limits

We may implement usage limits or rate limiting to ensure fair access and maintain service quality for all users.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Moomo AI Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, source code, and documentation, is owned by Moomo AI and protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

10.2 Trademarks

Moomo AI, the Moomo logo, and Q1 are trademarks of Moomo AI. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

10.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without any obligation or compensation to you.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Key points:

• We collect and store conversations to provide real-time sync across devices
• Your data is secured using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS, Firebase security rules)
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• AI providers (Google, Anthropic) process your queries solely to generate responses
• You can export, delete, or manage your data at any time
• Explicit consent is required before any data is shared with AI providers

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or performance of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting your account through the app (Profile → Delete Account)
• Contacting us at support@moomo.ai

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in prohibited activities
• Are required to be terminated by law
• Create risk or legal exposure for us

We will attempt to provide notice before termination, except in cases of severe violations or legal requirements.

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do:

• The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Effective Date”
• For material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
